SiGMA News has published a new opinion piece by our CEO, Lee Hills, examining the Isle of Man’s Data Asset Foundations legislation following Royal Assent.
Building on our earlier article about the proposed framework, the editorial considers what implementation could mean for gaming businesses that generate and hold significant volumes of proprietary data.
It looks at how properly structured and governed datasets may be identified, assessed and explained more clearly during transactions, funding rounds and regulatory reviews. It also considers the practical work still required as the Data Asset Register, supporting regulations and guidance are developed.
We would like to thank SiGMA News for publishing the editorial.
