Emma Shilling is a seasoned compliance professional with over 20 years’ experience in finance and eGaming. As Head of Compliance at SolutionsHub, she leads compliance strategy for one of the industry’s most respected licensing and advisory firms, helping digital gambling businesses navigate complex global frameworks with confidence. She is also Director of eGaming Integrity, a consultancy dedicated to supporting OGRA licence holders and their Corporate Service Providers with independent expertise in mock audits, remediation, and internal audit.

Emma is renowned for her unwavering commitment to innovation, integrity, and responsible gambling practices. Her deep expertise in financial crime prevention, data protection, and risk management underpins a practical, real-world approach to compliance.

Her role spans compliance monitoring, advising internal and external stakeholders, managing risk strategies, liaising with regulators, attending GSC organised MLRO Forums on behalf of operators, and promoting a positive compliance culture across the business.

Emma’s contributions extend to policy development, including active involvement in consultations by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission on legislative updates, the Code, and industry guidance.

Emma is passionate about helping operators make informed decisions while ensuring robust adherence to laws, regulations, and policies, fostering a culture of compliance and innovation.

Prior to joining SolutionsHub, Emma served as Senior Compliance Officer and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer at Unikrn, an esports betting operator. She played a pivotal role in steering regulatory compliance efforts, ultimately contributing to the company’s acquisition by Entain. Her areas of expertise include AML, CFT, data protection, and designing compliance frameworks tailored to the evolving demands of the digital gambling industry.

She holds a range of professional qualifications, including an ICA Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention, and a Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection, as well as Internal Auditor for Compliance management Systems. In 2024, Emma was recognised with the Visionary Compliance Leader Award at the Women in Leadership Awards, celebrating her dedication to responsible gambling and innovative regulatory thinking.
