SolutionsHub is proud to have supported PlaySmart’s successful application for an Isle of Man B2C gambling licence, allowing the company to move ahead with its direct-to-player strategy.
Issued by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, the licence means PlaySmart can now operate its B2C business from a well-established regulatory jurisdiction.
We worked side by side with PlaySmart during the Isle of Man licensing process, helping shape the application and guide the client through each stage. The aim was simple: keep the process organised, maintain clear communication, and help the application move forward without unnecessary delay.
Nikola Trajkov, CEO of PlaySmart:
“Securing our Isle of Man licence is an important milestone as PlaySmart expands into the B2C market. The Island’s regulatory credibility and stability were central to our decision. SolutionsHub helped us structure the application and guide it through the process from start to finish. Their support allowed us to move through the licensing process efficiently and with confidence, as we prepare to scale our B2C operations.”
Solutions Hub CEO Lee Hills:
“The Isle of Man remains one of the most respected jurisdictions in global iGaming, and achieving a licence here requires careful preparation and a well-structured application process. PlaySmart approached the process with strong operational readiness and a well-prepared B2C strategy. Our role was to ensure the licensing journey progressed efficiently and in close collaboration with the regulator, and it is very pleasing to see the licence now approved."
PlaySmart forms part of the Play Gaming Group, a technology-led gaming platform provider. The new licence allows the business to extend its platform expertise into direct B2C operations within a stable and internationally recognised regulatory environment.
With the licence now approved, PlaySmart will focus on scaling its B2C proposition and building its player-facing offering from the Isle of Man.
